"Yesterday is but today's memory, tomorrow is today's dream" - Khalil Gibran

8.00pm.

Butt-heavy, limb-wailingly lazy.

Tp masih perlu bersiap utk pergi kerja.

*sigh*

Longing for something sweet in life...

Somehow felt that I might not even find it, ever.

Ingredients (all the things I found in my fridge)

1) 4 slices of old bread - already past its shelf life, but still mould-free (at least from my naked eye)
2) Leftover sardines
3) Leftover hard boiled egg
4) Coleslaw mayonnaise (I can't find real mayonnaise!)
5) A slice of cheese
6) Margarine

How to make it

Splat margarine over breads lavishly. Fry on dry pan (no oil). Break egg. Chop to small pieces. Add coleslaw mayonnaise and mix well. Spread eggs over fried bread. --> tadaa.. Roti goreng telur rebus. Reheat sardines. Splat over fried bread. Add a slice of cheese on top. Fry bread again to melt the cheese, then tadaa..Homemade roti sardin cheese. Cewah!

Another good point of A&E posting, real breakfast at home! =) (albeit leftover) Not the usual meal on wheel (makan sambil driving) =P

The last time I was in KL - I accidentally bought a few things.

Well okay, maybe FEW is an understatement.

Some of my self defence monologue ~

"I definitely can't find this in Kch, so better buy lah.."

"Oh this one is very cheap, won't hurt if just take one..(or two),,"

"Oh that one would definitely look nice with that green tudung I have back at home, definitely will regret later if didn't buy this now.."

"Beli sajalah,,its not like I come down here all the time anyway.."

yadda..yaddaa..and the voice kept going on..

So much for not planning to buy anything.

The killer watch I saw in Sogo

I honestly blame all the shops. All the pretty displays and hunkie shop helpers seducing you left right center..I mean, who do they think they are..? Tricking innocent civilliant like me into spending my so-called savings non-sensibly..goshh......

Come April.. I'm starting a new mission -

Celebecy.

- From shopping, that is. Total spree-free for the next 4 months. Yeah. For real. Pray that my self restraint is going to last. =))

So my new motto for the next four months would be - I DON'T NEED THIS!

~I need to remind myself these as I'm going to be off-tag by tomorrow..ahaks!

3 days in the new posting and counting...

haiihh..tangging at the start of every posting is always very2 tiring..

kerja 8am-10pm daily

new bosses to please..

new environment (and people) to adapt to..

on my feet at all times - listening to people complaining about their problems (and all the weird ones!) while i'm having fever and flu and sore throat myself.. gargghh..

but.

above all i'm actually very2 happy that I've finally left medical posting, *yeah baby!!* - let A&E be a start of a new challenge.. =))

p/s: Tmrw's Good Friday - kenapelah aku kena tagging on public holidays jugakkk...??!!

Ironic.
I saw them kids cycling together while holding hands - three bikes altogether across a road
I thought - yeah, lets snap a pic and put this in my blog under the title "dangerous driving"
Then suddenly the middle bike skidded - sending the cyclist flat on his tummy.
So I get this instead -->

I was back at home for the past 6 days.
Hadn't been home for quite some time, it felt good to be home after a hiatus of absence.
It felt warm.
Umi-walid-atiqah-the house... Everything.
And for the first time ever, I actually thought - why not come back?
Okay, this had never happened before.. I've always planned to come back some day. 'Back' as in Ipoh, maybe Penang.... just not Taiping (don't ask me why)
It just never crossed my mind.

But suddenly I came to think - why not? What's holding me back? My parents aren't getting younger, and I think Ive been away from home far-too-long.
I may even have forgotten how my neighbours looks like.
And Taiping is such a nice town what...
It may not be so hip and happening but..its cozy enough.

So yeah, why not?

So I told umi - just be patient with me - another 2 more years - 2 years.. then I'll definitely come home (and live under umi's armpit, lalala~)
